It was the year 1919. The Japaneses occupied Korea. She was a student at Ewha Girls School in Seoul. During my summer holidays, she teached people to read and spread Western culture to our village and others. Due to her stong belief, She become an independence movement leader against Japanese colonialism. She participates in the demonstration on March 1st, 1919 against Japanese rule. Although she was only 16 years old. She organized another demonstration. The rally was broken up by police. She recieved a 3 year prison sentence. In prison, She sufferd much from her captors, and she died.
